At Rafferty & James, Inc., we are committed to giving back to our community. Through various social initiatives, we work hard to partner with local and national organizations which provide safe housing, clean water, medical care to those who cannot afford it, and employment services to the underemployed. We consider it a privilege to assist in promoting community well-being through compassionate and caring organizations.
As such, we are involved in supporting the following non profit organizations:
Bethesda Project: An interfaith community of prayer, reflection, and action that seeks to provide shelter and
services to the abandoned poor in Philadelphia.
Community Volunteers in Medicine: A community-based, volunteer organization providing primary medical and dental care to low income, working people in Chester County, PA.
Good Works, Inc.: A community organization which improves the living conditions for low-income families in Chester County, PA.
Habitat for Humanity: A ministry founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a decent, safe and affordable place to live.
Homeboy Industries: A neighborhood organization that assists at-risk, recently released, and formerly gang involved youth to become contributing members of their communities through a variety of services in response to their multiple needs.
Special Olympics International: A group that empowers individuals with intellectual disabilities in more than 180 countries through year-round sports training and competition.
Water Missions International: A nonprofit, Christian engineering organization serving the water and sanitation needs of people in developing countries and disaster areas.
